A Rare Opportunity

On my About page, I share aspects of myself, even though shifting the focus from your needs to my own can feel a bit peculiar. Nonetheless, this space allows for a personal introduction, and I’m ready to delve into it!

Education

I hold an impressive collection of college degrees—eight, primarily focused on physics and engineering, including a doctorate.

However, it’s important to note that I also have a significant amount of student loan debt associated with these degrees. While I worked multiple jobs to finance my education, student loans were necessary to cover the tuition costs that exceeded my earnings.

Employment

I gained valuable experience working in university libraries and the Audiovisual Departments during my undergraduate studies. As a graduate student, I became a physics teaching assistant and was eventually promoted to research assistant as I honed my expertise.

After earning my doctorate in aerospace engineering, I secured a position at Pratt & Whitney, a leading manufacturer of military jet engines. I advanced to the role of Military Non-Destructive Evaluation Coordinator. My career flourished when General Electric Aviation, the top commercial jet engine manufacturer, recruited me. While there, I initiated and secured Air Force funding for a significant five-year cross-industry artificial intelligence project pertinent to our sector. However, in 2020, the pandemic led to widespread layoffs, and I was among those affected.

Recognizing the looming challenges three years prior, I proactively explored job opportunities at five potential employers seeking my specific skill set. When those opportunities did not materialize for various reasons, I shifted my focus to entrepreneurship and the prospect of becoming a small business owner.

My Professor Slots Business

In October 2013, I met Larry Correia at my local bookstore. He interacted with the store manager and signed copies of his popular urban fantasy novels. During our conversation, Mr. Correia shared several insightful thoughts that I will delve into later. Notably, when I inquired about whether I should pursue writing in my retirement, he encouraged me to start immediately, emphasizing, “Everyone has a good idea for a book. But what you’re looking for is a great idea.”

A month later, I stumbled upon my great idea. With my engineering, physics, mathematics, and business background, I developed a strategy for winning at slot machine casino gambling. I noticed a lack of literature on this topic, and after winning a car, I felt compelled to write the corresponding book.

However, my approach to developing this project was quite unconventional. To paraphrase physicist Niels Bohr, “An expert is someone who has made every possible mistake within a narrow field.” My sequence of business development steps included:

• Try to get that book published
• Create a website
• Build an email list
• Start podcasting
• Become a YouTube creator

I have produced over 1,000 YouTube videos and nearly 200 podcast episodes. Remarkably, my annual business revenue now exceeds my book sales by fifteen times. I aim to share my process with you so that you can achieve similar success.

Goals and Intentions

I aim to leverage my skills in book promotion to help you connect with your audience and enhance your visibility. While teaching physics, I developed the ability to break down complex concepts into easily digestible formats while keeping the experience enjoyable for everyone involved.

At the core of my Professor Slots business is a non-fiction book, and as both an author and mentor, I’m here to assist you in reaching and engaging with your readers. I will share the strategies that have worked for me in the past.

With the launch of my new venture, Your Author Platform, I plan to replicate this success. Unlike many so-called “influencers” who speak on topics without real-world experience, I bring firsthand knowledge to the table.

If you’re an aspiring fiction author, you’re not alone—I’m on that journey too! After meeting Larry Correia, I was inspired to pursue fiction but ultimately found myself branching into non-fiction instead.

To maintain clarity for my audience, I’ve created a pen name, J. Hiram Peacel, which reflects my first name, middle name, and the English translation of my last name from German. You can follow my journey as I apply my expertise to build awareness for my upcoming science fiction novels.

Moreover, I will use my current experiences to guide you in effectively promoting your fiction or nonfiction works.
